Hot tub boat, Seattle wa

This pasted weekend my friends and I went up for a girls weekend in Seattle, WA and tried out a hot tub boat for the first time!

*Disclaimer: we paid for everything on this trip. Nothing was gifted to us nor were we paid to talk about this. Everything mentioned is 100% our opinions*

Hot Tub Boat, Seattle WA

What it is:A floating hot tub. A hot tub boat! It can hold up to 6 people

Where: On Lake Union in Seattle, WA

How much: $350 for 2 hours

This is by far one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Even in Winter! I honestly think it’s better in Winter because I don’t know if I would want to stay in the boat on a summer day.

When you arrive they have a heated room with two changing rooms and a restroom. This is also where you will leave any items that can’t get wet and your dry clothes. Once you get changed you can hop into your hot tub boat and they will go over safety features of course and other things you need to know and they even have a drawn out map of the lake for you. Once you understand the boat you are set free for 2 hours.

This floating hot tub is moved with a joystick and only goes 5mph so no boating license is required. The hot tub also has its own heaters so it stays warm your whole trip.

We took some umbrellas with us because well it’s Seattle and also winter. It rained most of the time but honestly it was pretty relaxing because of the rain.

We of course took a million in one pictures! The day we went I would say it was probably 45 out with a wind chill of 42. So getting out of the water to take pictures was no easy task! They also give you a Bluetooth speaker to use and it’s ok if it gets wet.

Not only do you get a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline but you also are right next to gas works park. It’s a pretty busy lake. We saw a few other boats float by us but it only made for good times because of the choppy waves they sent our way.

After two hours they ask you head back but you can add time to your boat for more money. Once you get back to the dock, they help you park the boat. They also have a shower and body wash for you to rinse off before getting dressed! It is an open shower inside their covered dock so swim suits stay on!

I will be doing this again! I’m thinking at least once or twice a year. I would love to go on a clear day next time. This is an experience I wish you all could experience.
